Vernon Hills, Ill. A new interior polyurethane that delivers maximum durability and protection in a fast-drying, ultra-low odor formula has just been introduced under the Rust-Oleum brand Rust-Oleum Ultimate Polyurethane.
Rust-Oleum Ultimate Polyurethane, formulated using a custom blend of hybrid oils, provides 33 percent more durability than the leading competitive polyurethane according to independent lab testing (ASTM D4060-10). It offers ultimate scratch and stain resistance and dries in just two hours, so multiple coats can be applied in just one day. The water-based formula has virtually no odor, eliminating the unpleasant smell often associated with traditional polyurethane finishes.
Our new Ultimate Polyurethane was formulated to make interior wood finishing faster and easier while offering outstanding durability and protection that’s unmatched in the industry, said Rust-Oleum Director of Wood Care, Lisa Skrdlant. It dries extremely fast, so most wood finishing can be completed in just one day and has virtually no odor so projects can be completed indoors.
Rust-Oleum Ultimate Polyurethane delivers a warm glow that brings out the natural warmth and beauty of the wood, so it’s a great finish for furniture, accent pieces, woodwork and doors anywhere a durable finish is desired. It cleans up easily with soap and water and is available in gloss, semi-gloss and satin finishes in half pints, quarts and gallons, for projects of any size.
Rust-Oleum Ultimate Polyurethane is also available in a convenient, easy-to-use aerosol spray that delivers an ultra-durable finish with maximum scratch and stain resistance. It offers a unique trigger cap that reduces finger fatigue and an any-angle spray for hard to reach places. Its ultra-fast dry time and professional delivery system make it ideal for any small wood finishing project.
