Q: What is the best way to apply WOLMAN products?

A: Although brushing a coating into the wood is the best way to ensure proper penetration, there are other application methods that can be used. For example, a pump-style sprayer or airless sprayer can be used with most WOLMAN finish coatings. However, it is important to back-brush any puddles after spraying, otherwise, an uneven appearance may occur.

If an airless sprayer is used, be sure to apply enough coating onto the wood. To achieve optimum water repellent and UV protection, always saturate the wood surface, then follow up with back-brushing.
