| Q: Why can't I apply paint on a deck? | | A: You can, but remember your Grandma's enamel porch? Chipping and peeling were BIG problems there. Paint is designed for use on vertical surfaces, where foot traffic nor abrasion occur. Since paint will form a heavy film on the surface of the wood, it is more susceptible to peeling and flaking when it is exposed to heavy foot traffic. | |
