Where to Use:
- All Types of Exterior Wood, especially non-pressure-treated wood. Also recommended for pressure-treated wood in mildew-prone environments, exposed to excessively humid or wet conditions.
- Any Species: Pine, Hemlock, Fir, Cedar, Redwood, Mahogany, Oak, Maple, Poplar, Teak, Ipé and more.
- Installation Types: Use on above ground installations only.

- Pre-construction:
Structural lumber, millwork, plywood, hard board, flake board.- Installed Structures: Decks, porches, steps, doors, fencing, shake, shingle, clapboard and log siding, outdoor furniture and décor, gazebos and arbors, storage sheds and more.
When to Use:
- Recommended First Application: Following proper surface preparation, apply immediately, before installation if possible (refer to PTDS - Surface Preparation and Application).
How to Use:- Application Methods:
- Homeowner: Apply by pump-style sprayer, nylon or synthetic bristle brush, short-nap roller or three (3) minute dip treatment.
- Builder / Contractor: Pre-treatment by dip method before installation is recommended (refer to PTDS - Recommended Coverage). For wood structures already installed, apply with airless or HVLP sprayer. The Wolman® DeckHandTM or DeckMate® Portable Sprayers are recommended. For best results, back-brush uneven coverage or puddles.
- Coats required:
- One (1) liberal coat is sufficient. Apply three (3) coats to end cuts for full protection. Allow at least one (1) hour between applications.
- Dry Time:

Touch: 1 hour. Walk-on: 6-12 hours.
Allow 24 hours before installation or using treated surfaces. Allow 48 hours before over-coating with oil-base primer, paint or stain.- Coverage Per Gallon:
- Approximately 150-250 sq. ft., depending on wood age and species, surface porosity and method of application.
- Clean Up:
- Wet: Soap and water. Dry: Mineral spirits.
